The hotel Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives is situated in the vicinity of the hotel´s own sandy beach. At the beach, there are sun umbrellas free of charge. The airport (MLE) is approx. 187 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee). There is also a shuttle to the resort by Seaplane OR Domestic Flight and Speedboat from 06:00 - 18:00 (for a fee).

Transfers - Guests are greeted by the Resort Airport Host who will assist with the check-in at the counter. Proceed to the nearby Sun Siyam Resort Counter #21, representative will assist you.
Seaplane Transfer — Day Time
1.The seaplane transfer time to the Resort is about 45 minutes.
2. The Resort or Seaplane Company provides a 5 minute transfer to the Terminal, where guests relax in the luxury Resort Lounge before departure.
4.Guests arriving on an international flight which cannot connect to the last seaplane of the day to the Resort (usually departs no later than about 1600) may choose to overnight in nearby Male' or Hulhumale' Hotels, or elsewhere. At the time of writing this contract, Seaplanes fly during daylight hours only, i.e., between about 0600 and 1800.
5.International airline policy requires passengers to check-in no later than 3 hours before flight time. The last flight departure from the Resort is about 1600, however due to bad weather the flight can be scheduled earlier.
6.The allowance for checked-in luggage is 20 kilos and hand carry is 5 kilos per person; above which there is an excess charge per kilo.
Domestic flight and speedboat Transfers
1.Baggage allowance is 20Kg and 5kg hand luggage. Any excess baggage is chargeable per KG.
2.The domestic flight time from the Domestic Airline Company at Velena International Airport to the Domestic Airline Terminal at Ifuru Airport is about 45 minutes
3.The speed boat transfer time from Ifuru Airport to the Resort is about 45 minutes.
4.The Domestic Airline Company flights operate until latest 23:30 for the convenience of guests whose International flight arrive after sunset or who opt not to stay overnight in Male'.
