The Parador, a Renaissance palace from the s. XVI, is located in the historic center of Úbeda, a city located in the province of Jaén, west of the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas, and bordering the Guadalquivir.
The building features an impressive colonnaded courtyard and gardens with a water fountain, where guests can eat or drink. With a stately air and a medieval touch, the castle retains much of its decoration in stone, railings and walls, and its rooms are decorated in a sober medieval style, with Castilian furniture and damask textiles in warm tones.
The restaurant, located in the part of the interior patio, offers a menu with traditional dishes from the region, including pickled partridge salad, lamb from Segureño, kid shoulder, or yema, cream and cream mille-feuille.
