This hotel is located in the lovely village of Gaucin, a beautiful mountain village which is part of the Serrana de Ronda. It enjoys spectacular views of the Genal Valley which extend to Gibraltar and Morocco.
The hotel building dates back to 1850 and offers a calm and cosy atmosphere. The ancient wine press room on the ground floor served for many years to provide wine to the owner's family and neighbours. This room has been preserved and now provides an original setting for the breakfast room. The hotel also offers the possibility of lodging in the Terraza or Vistasur rental property, both of which are traditional two-bedroom houses in a rustic style with the same spectacular views. There are a total of 13 rooms and facilities include a lobby, games room, restaurant and a laundry service for an additional fee.
The large rooms are situated in the upper level of the house. Guests can enjoy the view over the Strait of Gibraltar from any of the rooms or from the open terrace at the top of the building. Facilities in the rooms include an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, satellite/cable TV, minibar, double bed and central heating.
The Terraza property includes a small plunge pool. Guests have the option of going riding or mountain biking, both of which incur an additional fee.
