Overview

This hotel is an adults only hotel, occupying prime location in the popular holiday resort of Costa Calma in Fuerteventura. Rooms

There are a total of 202 rooms and suites at the Hotel Matas Blancas, with 187 standard rooms and 15 suites. All rooms and suites are cleaned 5 times a week. Each room includes a bathroom, a hairdryer, air conditioning, a satellite TV, a safety deposit box, a telephone and a mini bar.

Dining & Bars

Breakfast and dinner is served in the main restaurant in a buffet style, guests are invited to gorge themselves on a delicious selection of freshly prepared dishes from all over the world, as well as a choice of traditional Canarian cuisine which has been prepared by the experts. Throughout the day there is a pool bar which serves light bites as well as exotic cocktails and alcoholic beverages.

In the evening the lobby bar is a very popular choice amongst guests to sit and reflect on another day in the sunshine, this classic bar is open every evening and serves a great selection of after dinner beverages and hot drinks. There is also a disco bar.

The hotel offers a wide range of amenities and facilities within the grounds, including an indulgent spa facility (access to which is free of charge for one day per stay), two large swimming pools and a choice of sports such as squash and pentaque (a form of boules). Costa Calma Beach

Costa Calma beach is just one of a number of stretches that are linked during low tide. In the northern section there are two small family beaches. When the wind picks up, the southern section is perfect for surfing and windsurfing lessons. The range of accommodation available near the beach ensures an excellent range of services such as sunbeds and parasols for hire, lifeguard cover, and lots of water-based activities. The access road is flanked by local vegetation making Costa Calma an authentic oasis in the white sand.
