Centrally located hotel only 1 km from city centre. Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel is located in the center of Montreal, over the train station, connected to the extensive underground city of thousands of boutiques, restaurants and cafes, and within walking distance from sports and cultural attractions. The hotel facilities include lounge, restaurant, bar, business center, conference facilities, indoor pool, gym, spa, laundry, internet access (extra charge), gift shop and parking (extra charge). The guestrooms are equipped with bathroom (bath), hairdryer, cable/satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, coffee/tea maker and air-conditioning.
As of December 30th, the following measures will be in effect during your stay at the hotel:
CURFEW - A national curfew is in effect in the province of Quebec between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. In accordance with this restriction, we request that hotel guests remain in their room and refrain from visiting public areas of the hotel during curfew hours.
GATHERING - Prohibition of public or private gatherings. In accordance with this restriction, we ask hotel guests to refrain from welcoming guests to their room.
FOOD & BEVERAGE - Temporary closure of the Rosélys restaurant from 5:00 p.m. on December 31th. The New Year’s Eve diner and New Year’s Brunch are canceled. Guests with a prepaid reservation for these events will be contacted to process a refund.
*Please note that in-room dining will be available daily during your stay from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and overnight until 3:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve. Café Kréma will remain open for coffee and items to go Wednesday to Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
BAR - Temporary closure of the Nacarat bar. Please note that the New Year’s Eve event scheduled on December 31st is canceled. Clients with event tickets will be contacted to process a refund.
FAIRMONT GOLD - Temporary closure of the Fairmont Gold lounge from 12:00 p.m. on December 31st. Please note that if you are holding a reservation on Fairmont Gold, a special in-room dining offer will be prepared for you.
GYM & POOL - Temporary closure of the Wellness Center including the gym and swimming pool.
*Note that Moment Spa will remain open during your stay for massage therapy and personal
care treatments.
EVENTS - Rescheduling of the show Celeste by Cirque Éloize until January 17th, 2022. Ticket holders will receive a communication informing them of their resheduled show dates. Note that all shows scheduled between January 18th and May 7th, 2022 remain unchanged until further notice.
These new measures are in addition to those already in place at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in accordance with the Public Health guidelines and the certified ALLSAFE health and safety program:
• Mandatory health screening for all guests and employees, which involves reporting the presence or onset of any symptoms related to COVID-19 and any high risk contact with a person confirmed positive to COVID-19.
• A mask must be worn at all time in public areas and elevators.
• Respect of the physical distancing of 2 meters in public places and in elevators.
• Frequent hand washing and use of hand sanitizer.
• Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection with focus on high touch points with EPA registered disinfecting chemicals effective in preventing the transmission of COVID-19.
