The hotel Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives is located in the vicinity of its own sandy beach. The town Male Capital City is around 87 km away (Maamigili around 14 km). The airport (MLE) is approx. 100 km away. The hotel and airport are linked by a shuttle (for a fee). There is also a shuttle to the resort (Domestic + Speedboat Transfers) from 15:20 - 22:00 (for a fee).

The spa hotel has 112 rooms. It offers its guests a 24h reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, a safe (where applicable, for a fee), a shop and a money changing facility. TRANSFER OPTIONS MANDATORY FOR ALL THE GUESTS.
SEAPLANE TRANSFER flying hours are restricted to daylight hours from 06:30 to 16:00 hrs only. Approx 25-30 minutes away from Male Airport. The standard permissible weight is 25 kg, which includes 20 kg of checked-in luggage and 5 kg of hand luggage per person. Guest arriving after 16:00 have an option to book Domestic or overnight accommodation (own expense) in close by hotel and it will be transferred to the resort the following day. Last international arrival flight for seaplane connection is 15:30h.
DOMESTIC TRANSFER approx 25 minutes domestic flight & 15 minutes speedboat ride from Maamigili Domestic Airport.
