Carine Hotel Kumbor is set on the seashore of Kumbor and recently opened. Facilities will include three swimming pools, including an infinity pool and an indoor pool, a spa (supplements apply) and a private beach.

About the area
We recommend a visit to Herceg Novi, which is six miles away from the Croatian border and a 10-minute drive from the hotel. This town “welcomes visitors with bright bouquets, sparkling seas and almost-constant sunshine”, according to Lonely Planet. Sights include the Old Town, and the Kanli Kula and Forte Mare fortresses.

From Herceg Novi you can stroll along the flat and scenic Pet Danica promenade, which stretches from Igalo to Meljine. You can also drive along the road that hugs the butterfly-shaped Bay of Kotor — there are stunning panoramic views all the way.
