Playa d'en Bossa is an ideal alternative to staying in Ibiza Town. Playa D'En Bossa caters for all age groups and attracts families and couples as well as younger visitors. Playa D'En Bossa has probably grown into Ibiza's third party town after San Antonio and Ibiza Town. Its best known club is Space which only closes its doors for a couple of hours a day allowing for all night and all day partying. There's a fine selection of bars and restaurants throughout the Playa D'En Bossa including the notorious Bora Bora beach bar which is well established on the Ibiza party scene attracting revellers around the clock as well as some of the top visiting DJs. The long beach at Playa d'en Bossa is perfect for leisurely days of sunbathing and swimming with regular visits to the numerous beach bars and cafés along its length. There are also great watersport facilities available for the more energetic. The beach at Ses Salines just to the south is where the 'beautiful people' like to be seen whilst the beach at Figueretes to the north is more family orientated and hosts some fine restaurants that you might like to stroll to in the evening. The glistening waters that wash Ibiza's shores provide the island with an abundance of fresh fish, and fish soups and stews adorn most menus. For dessert, try ensaimada, a light cream-filled pastry sprinkled with sugar, or flao, a mint-flavoured cheesecake. Wash your meal down with a full-bodied red wine or a glass of the Spanish favourite, sangria, a tantalising concoction of red wine, brandy and fruit juice.
