Local Festivals in Figueretas - Nuestra Senora des Carmen The patron saint of seafarers and fishermen is honoured in Ibiza Town with parades, fireworks and the blessing of boats, on 16th July every year. Sant Ciriac One of the more bizarre festivals in Ibiza, this small ceremony takes place in Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town, and commemorates the reconquest of 1235. The festival culminates in a mass watermelon fight in Es Soto below the walls, and a huge firework display in the harbour. .
