Playa Blanca was once a small fishing village in the most southerly tip of Lanzarote, Playa Blanca has developed into Lanzarote's third resort. Where to Visit in Playa Blanca - Playa Blanca is well situated to explore the many tourist attractions in the North of Lanzarote, such as one of the longest volcanic tunnels in the world, the Cueva de los Verdes has been protecting locals for hundreds of years and — more recently — delighting visitors since it was opened to the public in 1964. Also Lanzarote’s famous Cactus Garden (Jardín de Cactus), based toward the north of the island in Guatiza, is one of the islands hottest attractions all year round. .

bPlaya Blanca and all of Lanzorote have fantastic year round holiday weather. The maximun average temerature only varies by 8°C between summer and winter. The island also has very little rain.
