One of the island’s longest established popular resorts, Costa Teguise started to be developed in the 1970s and was really designed to become a very popular tourist resort from the start. There are many things to do in Costa Teguise, from lazing on the beach to a round of Golf or revitalising your senses on the main beach, Las Cucharus, which is famous for its perfect windsurfing conditions and is a wonderful white beach where one can bask in the sun with tranquillity. Over all Costa Teguise is a great resort for those who just want to get away and relax while at the same time offers a multitude of activities associated with any modern resort.

What to do in Costa Teguise - Windsurfing, as mentioned before, is a major pastime in Costa Teguise with visitors and residents alike. There are windsurfing schools, shops and equipment rental companies clustered around the beach at Las Cucharas. Most levels of experience are catered for, from Absolute beginners upwards. Cycling and running are also quite widely enjoyed for the more energetic amongst us, the balmy climate and safe roads making for a very pleasant (?) experience. Costa Teguise currently has the only golf course on the island — although more are in construction — so this is where you need to head for eighteen holes in the sun all year round. .

Where to Visit in Costa Teguise - Costa Teguise is well situated to explore the many tourist attractions in the North of Lanzarote, such as one of the longest volcanic tunnels in the world, the Cueva de los Verdes has been protecting locals for hundreds of years and — more recently — delighting visitors since it was opened to the public in 1964. Also Lanzarote’s famous Cactus Garden (Jardín de Cactus), based toward the north of the island in Guatiza, is one of the islands hottest attractions all year round. .
